Atanasio Blanco Tequila is a small-batch, agave-forward tequila handcrafted in the Tequila Valley of Jalisco, Mexico. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave, this expressive blanco emphasizes the fresh, natural character of cooked agave with layers of herbs, fruit, pepper and earthy minerality.

Produced at Familia Landeros, NOM 1599, Atanasio Blanco is made under the direction of Maestro Tequilero René Carranza. The agave is steam-cooked in an autoclave, extracted using a roller mill, fermented in stainless-steel tanks and double distilled before bottling.

Atanasio is also produced without additives, allowing the character of the agave and its production process to remain at the center of the drinking experience.

The aroma opens with cooked and green agave, accompanied by fresh herbal notes of mint and basil and a crisp touch of green apple. On the palate, sweet cooked agave leads into vanilla, tropical fruit, cracked black pepper and vegetal notes, creating a bright and layered profile.

The finish is clean, bright and refreshingly sweet, making Atanasio Blanco approachable enough for sipping while retaining the vibrant agave character sought by tequila enthusiasts.

Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) for the U.S. market, Atanasio Blanco can be enjoyed neat or over a large ice cube. Its fresh agave, fruit and herbal character also works beautifully in premium Margaritas, Palomas and other tequila-forward cocktails.
