Chairman’s Reserve Vintage 2009 Rum is an exceptional aged rum from Saint Lucia Distillers, showcasing the depth, complexity, and distinctive character of Saint Lucian rum craftsmanship. Distilled in 2009 and matured for 11 years, this limited vintage expression brings together carefully selected pot and column still rums to create a powerful yet beautifully balanced sipping experience.

The Vintage 2009 is a unique blend of rums produced using three different stills: the John Dore 2 pot still, Vendôme still, and Coffey column still. Each component was matured independently for 11 years in ex-bourbon barrels under Saint Lucia's tropical conditions.

After maturation, Head Blender Deny Duplessis carefully selected and blended the individual rums. The finished blend was then returned to oak for several additional months, allowing the different components to integrate and develop greater harmony before bottling.

In the glass, Chairman’s Reserve Vintage 2009 displays a vibrant golden-brown color. The nose is intense and inviting, revealing honeyed raisin, toffee, banana, vanilla, and tobacco.

The palate is concentrated and powerful, delivering layers of candied tropical fruit, warming spices, tobacco, and buttery toasted oak. The oak provides structure and depth while complementing the rum's naturally rich fruit character.

A long, complex finish develops into distinctive notes of leather and dark chocolate, creating an elegant conclusion to this mature Saint Lucian rum.
