Created under the direction of whisky maker Dr. Bill Lumsden, the updated 15-year-old Lasanta builds upon the expression’s signature sherry-influenced style with greater maturity and complexity. Bourbon casks contribute vanilla, honey, and gentle oak, while Oloroso sherry casks add rich notes of raisins, dark fruit, nuts, toffee, and warming spice.

The aroma is deep and spicy, with notes of mead, honeycomb, walnut, chocolate-coated raisins, baking bread, and toffee. The palate delivers Brazil nuts in toffee, molasses, cinnamon, clove, dark chocolate, leather, and oak, followed by a long finish of Seville orange marmalade, dates, and treacle.
