Made from 100% Maguey Espadín, the agaves are roasted in traditional underground concave stone ovens ("hornos") fired primarily with local mezquite wood before being crushed by a traditional tahona. The naturally fermented mash rests for 7 to 9 days before undergoing distillation in copper alambique stills, creating a mezcal that faithfully expresses both the agave and the terroir of Oaxaca. Every bottle is hand-numbered and bottled at the source, reflecting its artisanal heritage.

The nose opens with aromas of wood smoke, roasted agave, fresh earth, and subtle sweetness. The palate is bold yet balanced, offering flavors of smoky agave, mineral earthiness, herbs, pepper, and natural sweetness, finishing long, clean, and pleasantly smoky with lingering agave character.
