Experience one of California's benchmark Chardonnays with HdV Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay 750ml. Produced from the historic Hyde Vineyard in Carneros, this flagship wine reflects the shared vision of the Hyde family and the de Villaine family of Burgundy to create wines that express exceptional vineyard terroir with elegance, precision, and restraint.

The wine is crafted from mature Wente and Calera Chardonnay selections, combining concentration with freshness. It is fermented and aged for approximately 18 months in a combination of French oak barrels (about 15% new oak), large foudres, and concrete eggs, with no bâtonnage, before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. This meticulous approach preserves the vineyard's mineral character while adding texture and complexity.

The bouquet reveals aromas of citrus blossom, yellow apple, pear, peach blossom, and flinty minerality. On the palate, expect layers of lemon curd, ripe orchard fruit, toasted hazelnut, saline minerality, and subtle oak, finishing long with vibrant acidity and exceptional balance. This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with lobster, scallops, roasted chicken, creamy pasta, and aged cheeses.
