Created to showcase the distinctive terroir and traditional mezcal-making heritage of inland Michoacán along the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt, this 2022 expression delivers an elegant profile centered on bright floral, vegetal, and naturally sweet agave characteristics.

At the heart of the Ensamble is the remarkable Inaequidens agave, a slow-growing variety that Mocel says requires at least 15 years to reach maturity. Mocel follows traditional artisanal production methods. The mature agaves are cooked in an underground volcanic-stone oven, followed by wild fermentation in open underground pinewood vats.
