In 2010, Parker Beam — the legendary 6th Generation Master Distiller at Heaven Hill — was diagnosed with ALS. True to his character and devotion to the craft, Parker never stepped away from the rickhouses. He continued selecting barrels, tasting whiskey, and putting his personal stamp of approval on every release. Even in the face of adversity, his passion for bourbon never wavered.

After a courageous seven-year battle, Parker passed away in 2017. Today, this edition of Parker’s Heritage Collection stands as a tribute to his life, his resilience, and his immeasurable impact on American whiskey.

This release honors what Parker considered one of his proudest accomplishments in more than 50 years of distilling: the introduction of Heaven Hill’s Single Barrel Bourbons. Aged for 11 years in his favorite rickhouse location — Deatsville — these carefully selected barrels embody Parker’s philosophy of balance, character, and authenticity.

The result is a bourbon of depth and distinction. Rich layers of caramel, toasted oak, and vanilla lead the way, followed by warm baking spices, subtle dried fruit, and a long, satisfying finish.
