Penelope Magic Toast Barrel Strength Toasted Bourbon is a bold limited-release straight bourbon that takes Penelope's signature toasted-barrel approach to a richer, higher-proof level.

After initial maturation in new charred American oak, the bourbon receives additional finishing in a secondary barrel featuring a Char 5 and Heavy Toast treatment. This intensified oak treatment develops deeper layers of caramelized sugar, vanilla, cocoa and toasted oak while maintaining the bourbon's underlying sweetness and spice.

Magic Toast is built around Penelope's 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley bourbon recipe. The relatively high rye content adds baking-spice structure to the sweeter caramel, vanilla and brown-sugar notes developed through maturation and toasted-barrel finishing.

Bottled at barrel strength at 55% ABV (110 proof), Magic Toast delivers a concentrated profile of brown sugar, toasted vanilla, dark caramel, cocoa and warm baking spice. The finish is long and warming, with caramelized oak and spice lingering after each sip.
