RG Legado Reposado Tequila 750ml

RG Legado Reposado Tequila is a premium, additive-free tequila crafted from 100% Blue Agave in Jalisco, Mexico. Aged for eight months in medium-toast American white oak bourbon barrels, this Reposado balances the natural character of agave with rich notes developed through careful barrel maturation.

RG Legado sources its Blue Agave from both of Jalisco's renowned tequila-growing areas, combining approximately 50% Valley and 50% Highlands agave. This approach brings together complementary agave characteristics before the spirit undergoes natural fermentation and double distillation.

After distillation, the Reposado rests for 8 months in medium-toast American white oak bourbon barrels. The maturation develops its attractive golden-amber color while introducing layers of wood, vanilla, and sweetness without overwhelming the underlying agave.

On the nose, RG Legado Reposado offers a robust oak-driven aroma accompanied by the distinctive character of Blue Agave and fresh touches of vanilla. The palate is smooth and balanced, with sweet agave complemented by the richness and structure imparted by the medium-toasted oak barrels.

Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), RG Legado Reposado is versatile enough for sipping neat while retaining the character needed for premium tequila cocktails. Enjoy it neat, over a large ice cube, or use it to elevate a Reposado Margarita, Paloma, or other agave-forward cocktail.

RG Legado was created in honor of Don Ramón González of Barranca de Santa Clara, Jalisco, and is produced in collaboration with La Auténtica Tequilera (NOM 1502), owned by the Orendain family.
