Sazerac de Forge XO Extra Old Cognac is a sophisticated French Cognac that revives the legacy of a historic house founded by Bernard Sazerac de Forge in 1782.

The Sazerac Company returned to Cognac centuries later, acquiring Domaine Sazerac de Segonzac and reviving the Sazerac de Forge & Fils name with a focus on traditional Cognac character and mature eaux-de-vie.

For this XO expression, the youngest Cognac in the blend has matured for at least 10 years, while the blend incorporates eaux-de-vie reaching 20 years of age. The components are matured in French oak, creating substantial depth while preserving a vibrant fruit-driven character.

The aromatic profile opens with toffee, marzipan, baked berries and toasted almonds, accompanied by delicate floral notes. On the palate, vibrant orange and tangerine meet mango and red berries, layered with vanilla, caramel, nutty richness and gentle peppery spice.

The finish is long and warming, carrying lingering citrus, mature oak and soft spice.

Bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof) in a 750ml presentation, Sazerac de Forge XO is particularly well suited to slow sipping, allowing its mature fruit, oak and spice characteristics to develop in the glass.
