Spirit Works Distillery Barrel Reserve Sloe Gin Batch 014 is a distinctive barrel-aged interpretation of traditional sloe gin, handcrafted in Sonoma County, California.

Spirit Works begins with its traditional Sloe Gin, made by adding whole organic European sloe berries to the distillery's own gin. For the Barrel Reserve expression, the finished sloe gin is rested in oak, allowing the tart fruit and botanical character to develop additional richness, depth and texture. 

The result is a full-bodied liqueur displaying layers of dark fruit, warm spice and oak. Spirit Works describes aromas of prune and dried grapes, followed by vanilla, dried cherry and ruby port on the palate. The finish is dry, rich and luxurious. Additional notes of dark cherry, clove, cardamom and orange peel contribute to its complex profile. 

Bottled at 30% ABV (60 proof), this 750ml Batch 014 release can be enjoyed on its own as an after-dinner pour or incorporated into elevated cocktails.
