The barrel composition includes two previously used American oak barrels, two previously used French oak barrels, and two ex-red-wine French oak barrels. Bringing these different cask styles together creates layers of oak, fruit, spice and mature agave character while adding depth beyond that of a conventionally aged tequila.

At 47.7% ABV (95.4 proof), this tequila is presented at cask strength, giving the mature spirit greater concentration and intensity. Its deep amber appearance immediately reflects the extended time spent interacting with oak.
