The Balvenie French Pineau Cask Fisnish 18 year 750 ML
An extraordinary expression from The Balvenie Stories Collection, the French Pineau Cask 18 Year Old tells a tale of patience, experimentation, and transformation. Matured for 18 years and bottled at 47.9% ABV, this limited release reveals the artistry of time and craftsmanship at its finest.
Originally part of David C. Stewart’s pioneering experiment with French Pineau des Charentes casks, the whisky’s early character did not meet his famously high standards. Yet, under the careful supervision of Kelsey McKechnie, it was left to mature for another eight years — and time worked its quiet magic.
The result is a sumptuously layered single malt, where creamy vanilla and honey intertwine with rich sweetness, gentle spice, and subtle oaky tannins. Each sip tells the story of transformation and the enduring spirit of innovation that defines The Balvenie.
