The Macallan Litha

The Macallan Litha represents the coming together of two worlds – Scotland and Spain – to create an incomparable single malt whisky. 

The complex flavour of The Macallan Litha is derived from the use of first fill sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez De La Frontera, Spain, the whisky mingling with the sherry seasoned oak to deliver its unique character.  

The Macallan Litha is available from August 2023 initially in China, and with all The Macallan expressions, as a dram at The Macallan Bar on The Macallan Estate.

Tasting Notes

NOSE : Butterscotch, vanilla, and chocolate with citrus and tropical fruits.

PALATE : Vanilla ice cream topped with a berry compote, toasted oak, warming wood spice with salted caramel and pecans

FINISH : Medium with fruits, vanilla and oak.

COLOR : Deep Gold.
