The Tishbi family's connection to Israeli viticulture dates back to 1882, when Michael and Malka Chamiletzki settled in Zichron Yaakov and Michael was selected by Baron Rothschild to plant vineyards in the region. The family later established its own winery in 1984, eventually adopting the Tishbi family name. Today, Tishbi remains a family-operated winery producing approximately one million bottles annually.

Crafted primarily to showcase Merlot's accessible character, Tishbi Vineyard Merlot offers a smooth red-wine profile with ripe dark and red fruit character, gentle spice and a soft finish.
